Schuith offers tube and disc aerators that perfectly meet these requirements. The resilient design of the membrane material ensures clog-free operation even after shutdown and is particularly suitable for intermittent operations such as nitrification and denitrification processes.

We manufacture aeration membranes in a wide range of types and sizes according to our customers' specific requirements, using carefully selected rubber blends (e.g. EPDM, silicone rubber, NBR) and offering a wide range of geometries and aperture sizes. In addition to supplying aeration membranes and aeration tubes individually, we can also provide complete system solutions including support frames.

The unique advantage of Schuith aeration membranes is their excellent resistance to corrosion and ageing, which ensures long-term stable operation and prolongs the service life of the equipment.

Depending on the water quality requirements, we use proven EPDM materials, both vulcanised and peroxide vulcanised, with excellent anti-microbial properties. For more contaminated wastewater containing oil, grease, petrol and aromatic hydrocarbons, we offer proven platinum vulcanised silicone rubber. For specific applications, we also offer specially developed NBR materials, which are particularly suitable for industrial environments.
